MHA CEO Michael Herrera and his brother Fire Chief James Herrera awarded the inaugural Rachel Herrera Minority Female scholarship to Candice Gutierrez of Deming High School in Deming New Mexico.
”Our mother did not have the luxury of attending college which bothered her immensely; in her memory we want to send as many minority girls to college as we can”, said Michael Herrera, President and CEO.
