Mock Disaster Exercise ACP Chapter Meeting

Richard Long will be presenting at the Central Arizona Association of Continuity Professionals member appreciation luncheon.

Today’s emerging risks and threats are complex and highly evolving. Business continuity planners are expected to have comprehensive incident management and business continuity plans to address a wide range of potential threats that could disrupt and paralyze a company’s ability to meet the needs of its critical stakeholders for an extended period of time.

At this in person only event, Michael Herrera will present participants with a mock disaster exercise using one of today’s most concerning and evolving threats. Participants will be asked to use crisis management team skills to collaborate with other team members to address the unplanned disruption. The mock disaster exercise is a great way to sharpen your incident management skills with your fellow continuity planners.

Richard Long is one of MHA’s practice team leaders for Technology and Disaster Recovery related engagements. He has been responsible for the successful execution of MHA business continuity and disaster recovery engagements in industries such as Energy & Utilities, Government Services, Healthcare, Insurance, Risk Management, Travel & Entertainment, Consumer Products, and Education.
